About the Role

The HR TUPE Business Partner role will be to provide maternity leave cover for 6/9 months to help support new contract bids and wins whilst undertaking the full range of TUPE obligations.

Some key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting line management through the application of the TUPE transfer process for employees including, the legal & policy requirements, payroll & pension requirements, consultation & engagement with both staff and unions requirements, due diligence and documentation production and onboarding of new staff into the company.
  • Provide accurate ELI within 28 days of transfer in line with legislation in the case of TUPE out and obtain ELI at the earliest opportunity ensuring measures are declared.
  • Consulting with staff, if required around changes to their role or if there are any redundancies.
  • Carry out due diligence with regards to checking TUPE data provided in relation to T&C's especially compensation and benefits. Supporting and responding to HR related bid questions where TUPE will be involved.
  • Ensure compliance with employment relation laws and regulations throughout contract wins/TUPE.

This role is based at our Stevenage Office although we do offer hybrid working. Some travel may be required.

Essential Skills

Previous experience working at these levels is required along with a recognised CIPD qualification.
