HR Systems and Data OfficerWe have an exciting opportunity for a HR Systems and Data Officer who will lead on the management and development of the HR system to deliver HR data management and an administration user support service.

The HR Systems and Data Officer plays a key role in providing relevant data and analytics by providing insightful reports that help support strategic business decisions across the organisation.About the Role: You will be joining a friendly well-established HR team, so you will have the support there if you need it, however, the ability to work autonomously and pro-actively is also a must.You will be confident working with HR systems, data and enjoy compiling figures and analytics and present this data in an accurate and meaningful way, so attention to detail is essential. You will play a key role in the future development of our HR system (Civica HR).You will be responsible for updating and maintaining the HR database, so it is essential that you have worked on a HRIS, producing regular reports and management information.Key Responsibilities: Act as first point of contact for system and process queries including holiday, sickness, leavers and internal transfers. ‘Technical expert’ for the HR system providing support and coaching to HR colleagues and new users, reporting any required fixes, testing and support continuous development of the HR system. Support and maintenance of HR software including the inputting, updating and transferring of data. Ensure data integrity through the use and creation of validation reports to identify and correct issues, errors and anomalies in relation to post, employee, pay and reporting lines. Provide regular ad hoc reports including KPIs, appraisals, exit interviews, sickness absence, equalities, leave etc and assist budget exercises and auditing. Analyse people management data and identify trends. Person Specification:To be successful in the role of HR Systems and Data Officer you will need to have great communication skills and be committed to the values of BHT Sussex. Some of the key skills and experience you will need to bring with you include: Significant experience in working within a human resources team, primarily in areas such as HR systems, management information and HR metrics. A working knowledge of HR systems, databases and have worked on a HRIS. Experience of prioritising and analysing large datasets, detecting and correcting errors, interpreting and reporting/presenting results in a meaningful way. Experience of operating HR Information and Recruitment Systems and databases to a high level and experience of using digital technology for a wide variety of HR services and activities. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to always maintain a high level of accuracy and numeracy.
