Position Overview
We are seeking a technologically proficient and adaptable HR professional to become an integral part of our team. In this vital role, you will provide first-line system support and ensure accuracy and compliance across our main company-wide systems, including Google Workspace. The ideal applicant will have a proven ability to quickly master new digital tools and systems, and will be comfortable navigating various technological platforms, demonstrating both quick learning capabilities and digital savviness.
Your initial six-month term will focus on automating features currently underutilised in our systems, updating, and implementing further training to set our team up for success. This is a particularlyexciting time for us as we have recently acquired a company and will require your support
in rolling out our systems to integrate the new team effectively. This will include additional administration to ensure correct access and training. As a tech-based and remote-first company, our systems are crucial for maintaining productivity, innovation, and fostering a collaborative culture.
Prior experience in leveraging technology to enhance efficiency in a non-technical role is highly desirable. This position has potential for extension beyond the fixed term, reflecting the critical nature of this role. What you will be doing:
First Line Support: Act as the initial contact point for HR system queries through the HR helpdesk ticketing system.Training, Education, and Documentation: Create, maintain, and update training materials to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and user adoption.Change Management and Project Support: Assist in change management activities related to system updates to aid in the successful adoption of new processes and functionalities.Continuous Improvement Projects: Contribute insights and suggestions for enhancing system functionality and user experience.Data Maintenance: Perform data cleansing and ongoing maintenance of all systems to ensure optimal performance.
What we are looking for
We are looking for you if you are a seasoned HR professional with strong proficiency in systems and technology, adept at managing and optimising HR information systems. Alternatively, you might be an experienced systems or IT professional who is eager to delve into the HR sector, seeking to leverage your technical expertise within a human resources setting. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of technical systems and a proven ability to apply this knowledge effectively, whether you come from an HR background or are looking to transition into this field. This role calls for a proactive approach, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a dedication to using technology to improve HR functions.
Must have:
Experience in Systems Administration,.Proven experience as an admin on Google Workspace.Solid experience with system onboarding processes.
Good to have:
A strong understanding of HR systems HR/People Operations experienceUnderstanding of Data security and GDPR best practices
