Reporting To: HR Shared Services ManagerResponsible for: HR Shared Services Administration Team Managing 5 HR AdministratorsLocation: BlackburnAgility is working with a one of UKs most innovative organisations with $2 billion turnover and due to expansion and internal promotion they are now centralising their HR Shared Services to the North West.Job PurposeWe are looking for a HR Shared Services Team Lead to supervise a team of 5 HRSSC Administrators providing all HR transactional and administrative support to the UK business from the recently established HR Shared Service Centre (HRSSC) in Blackburn. This role will oversee an efficient and effective service, and support the team in delivering a customer focused service that meets SLA's, and works on continuous improvement to ensure the aims of the business are achieved.Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting the HRSSC Manager to continuously develop the HRSSCOverseeing a customer focused administrative/transactional function that meets SLA's and KPI's.Championing the work of the team to ensure efficiency and quality in the delivery of the HRSSCProviding training to the team on systems, policies and procedures as requiredEffectively dealing with any queries escalated to your attentionSupporting all staff designated to your responsibility, to achieve the targetsMotivating your team through monthly 1:1's and identifying training needsRegularly seeking feedback from stakeholders on the performance and productivityUndertaking other duties, training and or hours of work as may be reasonably requiredExperience/Skills/Qualifications:High level understanding of HR issues, process and procedure together with knowledge of statutory requirementsIn depth knowledge of transactional processes (preferably gained in a HR environment) to enable interpretation for policy and guidance to customersKnowledge and understanding of HR AdministrationUnderstanding of Data Protection legislation, its implications, and the need to complyExperience of working in a customer focused environment, ideally working to SLA'sExperience of managing a team and able to demonstrate achievement of performance and efficiency benefits through coaching and people developmentStrong organisational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to balance demands and prioritiesExperience of problem solvingAbility to proactively identify opportunities to improve the serviceExperience in using Service Now is desirableFree ParkingGreat office environment30 days holiday including bank holidaysStudy SupportOpportunity to work from home 1 day per week after probationApply for this jobRegional accountancy, finance and HR recruiters
