HR Project Consultant – 6 months Remote working – must be available to attend meetings in Reading/London where required. Daily rate, circa £700 per day Iconic Resourcing HR are seeking an experienced HR Project Consultant to lead and implement the set-up of a Joint Venture company as an employing entity. The company, scheduled to be established in June 2024, will transition current personnel providing services to the Joint Venture via TUPE transfer and hire new personnel. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with parent company audit requirements and oversee all HR-related aspects of this transition. The HR Project Consultant will be responsible for the following: Creation of a Plan : Develop a comprehensive plan for establishing the Joint Venture as an employing entity. TUPE Transfer Conditions : Set the conditions for a smooth TUPE transfer of existing personnel into the new company. Market Salary Benchmarking : Conduct market salary benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation. Employee Value Proposition : Create a compelling employee value proposition, including a reward structure. HR Services Solution : Establish HR services including payroll, tax, benefits, pension, allowances, reporting, holidays, disciplinary processes, expenses, employee lifecycle management, and HRIT systems. Employee Relations Model : Develop a robust employee relations model. Onboarding and Development : Establish onboarding, training, learning, and development processes, including mandatory training (e.g., ED&I, IT/cybersecurity, H&S). Recruitment Process : Create a streamlined recruitment process. HR Policies and Procedures : Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring GDPR compliance. Insurance and Registration : Secure employers' liability insurance and complete HMRC registration. Additional Services : Provide other HR services as agreed upon by both parties.
Requirements: Proven experience in leading & executing similar HR projects, specifically in setting up new employing entities and managing TUPE transfers. Demonstrated ability to conduct market salary benchmarking and create employee value propositions. Expertise in establishing comprehensive HR services and employee relations models. Experience in developing onboarding, training, and development processes. Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, GDPR compliance, and HMRC registration processes. Ability to attend in-person meetings in London/Reading as required
