My client is a well respected logistics company with their head office in Lancaster. They are looking for an experienced HR professional to support the HR Advisor and HR Administrator by representing the HR department as one of the main points of contact for all enquiries, and championing the company values in all their exploits. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to make an impact in an active HR department and further hone their skills working alongside a supportive team. Further details are as follows:General HR Responsibilities:Contribute to the development of the internal HR toolkit to provide excellent management training and analysis of training needs for all areas of the businessRecording holiday entitlement and annual leave for staff, allocating cover to ensure business activities are not impededSupporting the HR Advisor to assist in the analysis of employee behaviour and patterns by collating data and producing reports to help improve procedures and systemsAssisting the Payroll staff to process any changes in employee records and monitoring monthly activityMaintaining the employee database alongside the HR Administrator and making variations to contracts as neededWorking with the HR Advisor to create welfare packages, schedule and lead meetings on employee wellbeingProvide support to line managers during the recruitment process and identifying which employees would benefit from development processesBeing a main point of contact for all HR enquiries and advising on company policy on a range of ER mattersThe Ideal candidate:Should hold a CIPD Level 3 or be working towardsExperience of working as an HR Officer or a HR generalist with a range of duties for at least 3 yearsExperience of the recruitment and onboarding processStrong knowledge of current UK employment law and practiceHighly competent with IT systems, in particular MSA problem solver who is able to handle complex and confidential matters with a professional and tactful approachA warm and confident manner with great communication skillsThe benefits you will receive:A salaried position with a negotiable salary based on experienceFull time hours from Mon - Fri 8:30 - 5:30Cycle to work schemeDiscounted or free foodOn-site ParkingIf you are interested in this role then get in touch with Joe Penny on 01772 278 078 or apply online.Apply for this job
