As the HR Officer you will play a key role in supporting our managers and employees in all aspects of our people strategy. This is a HR generalist position where you will be responsible for recruitment, on-boarding, performance reviews, and case work for our new and existing stores. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our culture, staff incentives, and engagement initiatives.

Reporting to the Operations Department, you will have the chance to work alongside a dynamic team dedicated to driving there growth as we expand throughout the UK. This is a rapidly growing organisation, and we are looking for someone who is flexible, energetic, organised, and personable with a 'can-do' attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Induction:

  • Lead the recruitment process for a pipeline of new stores.
  • Develop and continuously improve our onboarding systems for new staff.
  • Prepare and maintain training guides and checklists to ensure effective training and support.

  • Ensure accurate recording of new starters and absences.
  • Review and verify payroll information, including holidays and vacations.

General HR:

  • Provide advice and guidance to employees and managers on all HR case work.
  • Attend disciplinary and grievance meetings when required.
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions for new and existing roles.
  • Review and update our Employee Handbook.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-growing retail company.
  • Relevant HR qualification (minimum CIPD Level 5 required).
  • Strong experience in recruitment and onboarding.
  • Familiarity with online recruitment platforms.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and knowledge of HR and H&S practises.
  • Ability to travel to other stores for new store openings and staff engagement.
