A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HR OFFICER AT CROWNE PLAZA DOCKLANDS
What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the General Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following.
As HR Officer, you will contribute to RBH Hospitality Management goals and values by ensuring best in class HR support throughout the entire employee life cycle especially by fostering an atmosphere of commitment and high performance to maximise the return on the hotels human resources. As HR Officer your role will involve a wide range of duties including: the responsibility for HR procedures and practices including recruitment, training, HR administration and employee relations, ensuring policies and controls established by the company are followed. The successfully recruited HR Officer will be able to communicate effectively at all levels and ensure HR business requirements are consistently achieved and HR strategies are implemented successfully. The HR Officer will support and advise Department Managers in HR related matters, deliver training including induction and statutory training. The role requires the ability to influence employee engagement, motivating our teams to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction whilst promoting the company purpose, values and behaviours at all times.

Additionally, this role will focus on best-fit recruitment for hotel personnel at all levels, ensuring fair and reliable recruitment practices and to maximise retention and workforce stability.
Ensure that the highest level of employee competence is achieved through effective, relevant training programs and other ongoing developmental activities.
This role contributes to RBH Hospitality Management goals and Values by fostering an atmosphere of commitment and high-performance culture throughout all the employees of the hotel, to both the operational, service and brand standards.
To support the hotel to ensure employees are effective, and all HR systems are in place to avoid any legal claims.
To guide and consult with hotel/departmental managers to ensure departments maintain a headcount within the budget and are staffed at levels appropriate to the needs of the business.

To succeed in the role of HR Officer, you will need the following qualities and skills.
The ideal candidate is an individual who cares about providing excellent service to our guests and employees and who can use their intuition and creativity to deliver a wondrous experience for everyone. You must have a previous experience in HR at a similar level preferably in a hotel or hospitality related environment. Be computer literate and able to demonstrate attention to detail, be able to work with less supervision as this is a stand-alone role.
