12-18 month FTC
Are you an established, HR generalist, with experience working in
large, matrix organisations ?
Are you open to longer term FTC assignments to support an organisation with the
BAU activity
as it moves into a
huge period of transformation ?
I am currently supporting a large organisation to source a number of FTC HR roles as it begins its
transformation journey . This transformation is going to be affecting almost every aspect of their HR ways of working, from systems and technology, to implementing a strategic business partnering approach, to how the centre of excellence works together, to upskilling managers to own more of their low level HR tasks. However, they are at the very start of this journey and there is a long way to go before achieving any of the above.
My client is looking for people who are comfortable
navigating a period of change , and delivering on the
BAU HR generalist
activity within the workforce as they begin this journey. This will be working closely with people managers and
senior stakeholders
to support them on a variety of HR generalist activity, including ER, complex contractual changes, change management, upskilling people managers, delivering the wider people plan, supporting stakeholders through people challenges, and supporting stakeholders through this period of change.
This is an organisation that puts
relationships
at the forefront of everything. They work hard at getting out into the business,
building engagement and buy-in
to any kind of change before launching change projects. This does mean that
pace of change is slow , and requires someone that is used to managing a busy workload, but has the ability to be patient for changes to happen. It’s vital the successful candidate shows a genuine interest and willingness to understand the organisations current ways of working.
The organisation as a whole is really flexible, happy to consider candidates looking for
full time or part time work
and navigate other family or carer commitments. However, due to the volume of change coming its way, and the relationship first approach, they do need people who can commit to being onsite in
Leeds 2-3 days per week .
So, what’s the role?
Managing
Employee Relations cases , all ER including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance
Working and
collaborating with the wider HR team
on projects and change programmes
Build genuine relationships
with people managers and senior stakeholders across your business unit
Leading on
change management
projects
Implementing the
wider people strategy
into your business areas
A strong focus on
retention
and
engagement
across the business
Creating and delivering localised people strategies
Coaching
and mentoring key stakeholders
Line management of a HR Advisor to deliver on the operational and transactional day to day duties
So, if you’re an established HR Manager/BP looking for a new challenge with a business that will evolve enormously over your time with them, please
