Introduction to the Company

Our client, a leader in the provision of warehousing and logistics, is seeking a skilled Human Resources Manager to join their team. With extensive industry experience, our client operates state-of-the-art warehouses, strategically located in the East Midlands.

Description of the role:

• Offer professional HR support ensuring compliance with policies and legal obligations.
• Provide guidance to Directors and managers on various HR challenges.
• Manage organisational changes.
• Optimise HR functions through effective use of management information systems.
• Lead recruitment, induction, and probation processes.
• Stay updated on changes in employment law and ensure adherence.
• Coordinate Health & Safety matters in partnership with external consultants.
• Oversee statutory reporting requirements and manage the Apprenticeship Levy.
• Promote internal employee engagement initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold data protection standards.

About you:

• CIPD Qualified Level 5 or equivalent, preferably MCIPD.
• Experience in Warehouse/Logistics or Manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Proactive with excellent organisational abilities.
• Commercial understanding of HR as a service function.
• Discreet, empathetic, and able to handle sensitive matters with tact.
