HR Manager Job Description
A growing investment firm seek an experienced, bright and charismatic HR Manager to join their close-knit team. This is a busy role with lots of potential growth.
Marcilly Recruitment is working with a lovely investment firm in the heart of Mayfair. They have continued growth year on year since inception, offering amazing benefits and salary progression as each member of staff is a valued individual. The HR Manager runs the HR department and is instrumental in working alongside senior management to ensure a collaborative, team centric culture with a family feel to it. It is a non-hierarchical environment where the whole team are valued and given the opportunity for professional development. We have placed numerous people with the firm and they are all still there. The team currently sits at 36 employees.
Role: HR Manager
Salary: £80K-£90K – could be flexibility for the right candidate
Benefits: generous discretionary bonus; healthcare; 8% pension; 25 days holiday; life insurance; onsite gym; annual ski trip; daily breakfast and lunch; nursery vouchers (the equivalent of up to £5k per annum)
Hours: 09:00 – 18:00
Location: Mayfair – office based four days a week with the ability to work from home one day a week
Start date: happy to wait a notice period but ideally before mid-May

HR Manager key role responsibilities include:
This is a true generalist position. You will support on the full employee life cycle, onboarding and offboarding lifecycle and manage the bi-annual reviews and compensation, working closely with the COO and management
Full recruitment process accountability for graduate and entry level recruitment, and being proactive, passionate, creative and innovative in order to attract the best and brightest talent on the market
Updating company policies and procedures in line with UK employment law
Consistently looking for ways to streamline current ways of working, and being forthright in suggesting and pioneering improvements
Maintaining the FCA compliance trackers including SMCR, compliance, and other record keeping
Take an active role in all supporting on learning and development and training needs for the employees from intern level upwards
Management of monthly payroll and employee compensation
Maintaining employee benefits and managing supplier relationships
Passionate about maintaining a healthy company culture and team wellbeing and willing to support on projects as needed
Visa sponsor licence applications
Recording, monitoring and maintaining attendance data for employees
HR Manager requirements:
Proven track record operating at an advisory level in HR within Professional or Financial Services
Impeccable professionalism and stakeholder management skills
CIPD Qualified to level 3/4/5 or undergraduate equivalent
Able to work to tight deadlines and prioritise
Tech savvy, with advanced excel skills
A team player who is ambitious, proactive and resilient
The HR Manager reports directly into the COO who is an incredible boss and mentor.
