Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be supporting one our Sheffield based clients to recruit a HR Manager.  Reporting into the Head of HR and operating as part of the larger HR function this is a generalist role supporting all aspects of HR.
The role will focus on transactional HR services as well contributing to Group wide projects including their expansion into Europe which offers a great opportunity for development.

My client’s offices are based in Sheffield city centre and the company offers hybrid working, c2/3 days WFH which provides a great level of flexibility.


Responsibilities will include:


  • Delivering a high level of HR support to stakeholders on HR issues including ER, recruitment and development
  • Supporting the Head of HR on change management activities including Tupe activities as the business grows
  • Developing policies and procedures in line with legislation ensuring fit for purpose and in turn cascade these out to line managers ensuring a clear understanding and application
  • Supporting on recruitment/talent acquisition and work force planning, ensuring headcount is fully managed
  • Providing coaching to line managers on soft skills and people issues
  • Developing strong learning & development interventions, facilitating learning to ensure methods of recording are in place for structured programmes
  • Continuously support on employee engagement through effective communication strategies
  • Support the launch of a new HR system
  • Work with key stakeholders in the further expansion into European offices, supporting employees at site, this will offer the opportunity develop skills in European employment law and practice

To be successful in this this role:


  • c5 years + Senior HR Advisor/ HR Manager experience
  • CIPD qualified – Level 5 or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant HR policies, procedures and employment law
  • Experience of using/implementing HR Information Systems
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing skills, collaborative approach and customer focused
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity, in a fast paced changing environment
  • Ability to influence and coach all levels of stakeholders
  • Experience of managing a HR team would be desirable
  • Confident to work autonomously, make decisions, calm approach..
