Elevation HR are currently working with a rapidly growing manufacturing company based in Scunthorpe as they appoint a HR Generalist to manage their HR function on a full time, permanent basis.
This is a standalone, pure generalist HR role and you will be responsible for developing the current HR set up including the employee lifecycle, employee relations and recruitment. This role offers a fantastic development opportunity with progression to becoming the sites HR Manager, day to day your responsibilities will include:Supporting or taking the lead on Employee Relation matters including investigations, disciplinaries and grievance mattersManagement of the recruitment process both directly and through maintaining relationships with agenciesProcessing of new starters and leavers; completing right to work checks, creating offer letters, contracts and new starter packs, and communicating these with the payroll departmentAdvising supervisors and managers on employment lawUpdate and maintain employee personnel files and databases, ensuring audit standards are metMonthly KPI reporting prepared promptly for board meetings.Monitor maternity, paternity, adoptive or parental leave, ensuring relevant communication is given in a timely mannerBenefits includes:Free Onsite Car Parking31 Days Annual Leave including Bank HolidaysCareer DevelopmentThe right person for this HR Generalist role will have the following attributes:At least 2 years' experience in a HR Advisor role or above, preferably in an FMCG/Manufacturing/Logistics/Distribution environmentIdeally you will be CIPD qualifiedIf this sounds like an opportunity for you then please get in touch today
