This is an exciting opportunity to join the growing HR team of this dynamic business. As a HR Executive you will provide HR advice and support to the company and their employees. This position is instrumental in ensuring the delivery of a reliable and comprehensive HR service across our UK and international offices. The role provides the opportunity to assist the Head of HR and Chief People Officer with all aspects of HR including employee relations, HR administration, HR project work, and supporting the delivery of the company academy.Connections are at the core of their company; you will be engaging with managers throughout the business and all our employees so the natural ability to authentically connect and build professional relationships throughout the company is essential.Responsibilities: Provide professional HR advice and guidance in line with company policy and procedures to employees and managers in all areas of the employee lifecycle including performance management, absence management, parental leave, disciplinaries, and escalating issues where required. Manage absences within the company ensuring that relevant processes are followed, and forms are completed.Provide advice to managers in relation to their responsibilities for managing sickness absence and assist by attending absence meetings to understand reasons for frequent absences and advise on next steps.Support the HR team in the preparation of documentation for internal processes such as disciplinary, grievances, and performance management.Conduct investigations for ER matters such as repeated lateness, absences, not following proceduresManage the probationary period for all new starters ensuring review meetings are held at 2, 4 and 6 month stages, and letters are issued to confirm the outcome of the probationary period.Prepare monthly payroll reports for all global offices and send to Payroll Manager by the payroll deadline.Prepare regular reports for areas such as holiday usage, right to work, employee turnover, employment anniversaries.In conjunction with the Head of HR and Chief People Officer, create and review HR policies, procedures, and handbooks throughout our global officesWork with our marketing team on internal communication documentsProviding proactive and efficient administrative support across all HR processes such as preparing promotion letters, maintaining parental leave data, supporting with the annual appraisal programme, and analysisEnsure that all HR databases and spreadsheets used for the reporting of HR data are accurate and always maintainedDeliver HR services and respond to internal and external enquires in a professional and timely mannerManage building access via a fob systemMaintain complete confidentiality of HR issues within the HR teamSupport with the coordination of annual academy programme when requiredLead with charity activities as a working group in the companySupport with our employee onboarding and induction process as requiredTo be an ambassador, upholding the standards of the company and HR function Experience:A minimum of 2 years’ experience in fast paced generalist HR roleSound understanding and execution of HR policies and proceduresPrevious employee relations experienceQualificationsCIPD qualification or working towards would be desirable but not essential if you are able to demonstrate HR experience and knowledgeSkillsAbility to work in a flexible HR environmentDetailed and takes pride in completing work to a high standardHard working and positive approach to workAbility to multitask, effectively prioritise and manage workloadsAble to engage and work effectively at senior and non-management levelsAbility to work with complete confidentialityAble to empathically navigate conversations and scenariosBenefitsThe offices are primed to engender a team atmosphere, with breakout spaces provided for you to enjoy time with your colleagues, In addition to a fantastic work environment, you can look forward to a vibrant social scene outside the workplace with events, parties and activities held year round for everyone to enjoy – including the famous Christmas Party: a lavish celebration held at a top venue!Other benefits that you will receive working for us are:Competitive salaryCompany healthcare programme with access to 1000s of discounted retailersA paid day off to celebrate your birthdayCycle to Work schemeLong service holidaysAnnual employee recognition awardsChristmas saving schemeHoliday purchase scheme Seniority levelSeniority level Not Applicable Employment typeEmployment type Full-time Job functionJob function Human Resources Industries Human Resources Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Layka Recruitment by 2xGet notified about new
