The Women's & Children's & Specialised Services Divisions have exciting opportunities for qualified HR professionals to join their senior leadership teams.The HR Business Partner is an important and integral member of the Divisional leadership team. They provide a strategic HR and Organisational Development focus and direction for the Division, to support the delivery of the highest quality patient care and efficiencies, and Trust and Divisional objectives. They work proactively with the Divisional Director, Clinical Chair, Directors of Nursing and other senior stakeholders to support the forward planning, transformation, engagement and performance of the workforce, embedding good HR practice and raising management capability within the Division.If you have a sound understanding of HR best practice and employment law, highly skilled in ER case management and organisational change with the ability to advise and support managers with complex people management issues we would like to hear from you. To understand and translate the Trust’s key drivers and challenges to enable planning and delivery of an effective people strategy aligned to business strategy and Trust objectives.Provide strategic, specialist advice to the Division on the workforce impacts and implications of short to long term business planning, enabling the Divisions to meet present and future business challenges and provide best quality patient care which meets financial targets.As a member of the Divisional Core Management Team and Divisional Board(s), to contribute to the development of the Divisional strategy, business plans, project management and operational decision-making, which enable Divisional and Corporate aims and objectives to be achieved.To work in partnership with managers in allocated divisions/corporate areas to establish the HR strategies and plans necessary to support:the successful delivery of patient focused services,the achievement of business targets, andthe implementation of service development strategyTo analyse complex workforce information and productivity measures and to develop strategies and plans to ensure that the workforce supports current and future performance targets.In conjunction with the appropriate Corporate Lead, to contribute to the development of the People strategy and plans, communicating and liaising with other HR Business Partners, reporting to HR Board and providing the link between Divisional HR practice and Corporate leadership.University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW) is one of the largest acute Trusts in the country, bringing together a combined workforce of over 13,000 staff and over 100 different clinical services across 10 different sites, serving a core population of more than 500,000 people across South West England.
