HR Business Partner

I'm delighted to be supporting a well known and highly regarded National Law firm in recruiting for an HR Business Partner.

In this role you will support your Senior HR Business Partner colleagues in allocated work largely focused on supporting team managers in the business with HR policy and Employee relations work.
When speaking to the hiring manager, the key areas that have been identified as being important in a candidate are:

Someone who can read situations and provide expert HR Advice
An ability to consider what someone is asking and how that aligns to the firm's HR and business strategy
Influencing skills with an ability to challenge constructively
A team player and someone who is willing and able to support three Senior HR Business Partners in providing excellent HR advice across the whole firm
Confidence to, when needed, have meetings with senior colleagues up to partnership level
This firm has approximately 670 employees spread across 9 sites with this role being able to be based in either Bristol, Exeter or Plymouth.
For this role, legal experience is not essential - if someone does not have legal experience we are looking for strong professional services or corporate experience.
We are also able to consider senior/experienced HR Advisors looking for a step up.
Some travel will be required however the majority of the role can be covered from your main office location and the hybrid working arrangement allows for 2-3 days a week working from home on average.
We can consider someone who is looking to work 4 days a week.
