HR Business Partner Department: Central Services Employment Type: Fixed Term - Full TimeLocation: Horsham Reporting To: Susan ChawickDescriptionAre you an experienced HR Business Partner preferably with a professional services background, with a proven track record in effective business partnering along with the ability to cultivate strong working relationships with key stakeholders?At Kreston Reeves, we are recruiting an HRBP on a 15-month fixed-term contract where you will work alongside our Key Service Line Leaders (KSLLs) to develop and adapt the people element of the Key Service Line (KSL) business plans. You will be providing HR expertise to the KSL to support and enable them to develop and implement a robust business strategy from a people perspective, which builds people capability and high functioning teams.This role will ideally be based in our Horsham office, or alternatively London - as this HRBP role covers the Sussex region, it will require regular travel to our 3 offices in Sussex (Horsham, Chichester and Brighton) and when required our offices in Kent (Chatham, Canterbury and Sandwich).
About the role In the role of HRBP, you will play a crucial role as an ambassador for the HR function and custodian of Kreston Reeves's culture, embedding the firms's culture with our leaders and colleagues. You will also provide support to KSLLs and other key stakeholders to communicate and cascade messages to colleagues, ensuring consistent messaging with other KSLs through liaison with HR colleagues and the Internal Comms Manager.Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Meet regularly with KSLLs, KSL Senior Management Team members and other key stakeholders to discuss people challenges and agree plans to resolve them, bringing in your own expertise.
Identify and use key data from across the business and from external sources to support and inform decision making; such as turnover, absence rates, diversity, pay, etc.,. Use data, metrics and evidence to identify and forecast longer term business needs and trends.
Work with other specialist HR Leads, such as Operations, L&D and TA to ensure that the wider HR team understand the business plans and are working collegiately and consistently to implement them.
Implement and develop succession and workforce planning models across all KSLs and support succession planning and restructuring initiatives.
Provide support on all complex ER cases, ensuring that risk is appropriately and proportionately managed, offering pragmatic solutions to problems that arise and ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
Coach and support key stakeholders, including KSLLs, providing constructive feedback which aids their development.
Work with the HRD and other HR team members to build people and organisational capability, through the identification and implementation of people strategies, focussing particularly on the firmwide strategic pillars.
Support managers with the implementation of performance management processes with a focus on the development of key strategic SMART objectives across the firm and regular quarterly review meetings to monitor performance.
What we're looking for
A strong verbal communicator, with the ability to build constructive and positive relationships
CIPD qualified with proven experience of managing and influencing key stakeholders to improve people capability
Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to view a problem from different perspectives in order to identify the best solution for the business
Experience of coaching, mentoring and providing constructive feedback to others
Proven ability to identify and manage people risk
