HR Business Partner opportunity available on a full-time permanent basis working for a leading charity based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.This roleis working from their Wakefield office and offers hybrid / home working plus excellent additional Benefits. The purpose of the role: To become a trusted and integral people partner within the operational and support services management teams across different business sectors and regions of the organisation. To build strong, effective professional relationships to support the identification
and delivery of people solutions in a collaborative approach. To provide a pro-active, comprehensive, and effective high quality human resources service to the areas supported, in particular, to Regional Managers and Services/ Area/ Department Managers. Identifying, developing and implementing solutions that support
organisational effectiveness and improve performance. To provide appropriate human resources input into organisational-wide projects, including leading on specialist subjects as designated. To be an ambassador of the organisation’s identified culture and values and ensure these are embedded in people practices. Main duties and responsibilities include: To effectively partner with operational and support service teams to proactively identify solutions and initiatives in relation to people issues and activities that will deliver improved performance and business objectives. To identify regional trends/issues and to highlight to the Director of People and Organisation Development and the People Business Partner Manager. To understand and anticipate the need for change, diagnose the underlying issues and build the case for change with managers. To coach and build the capability of managers to anticipate and pre-empt people/organisational issues, challenging/influencing them where appropriate. Participate in relevant projects; leading and championing as appropriate. To provide effective professional human resources advice, influence, information and support to Managers throughout the organisation. To actively contribute to the development and provision of effective People related policies, procedures and practices that support the strategic aims of the organisation. To contribute to effective change management solutions, ensuring consistent standards are maintained in line with relevant legislation. To provide day to day leadership to drive delivery of their strategic people plan. To actively manage and support Managers in complex employee relations casework, attending formal meetings as required. To assist the People Business Partner Manager with Employment Tribunal cases as required.
