What You Will Do:
Support a newly acquired business in the ChampionX portfolio. The role will require change management leadership, as well as the ability to support ongoing day-to-day HR operations.
Execute integration plans to smoothly transition employees from the acquired company into ChampionX operations.
Implement change management strategies to help employees adapt to new policies, procedures, and organisational structures resulting from the acquisition.
Support the team with day-to-day HR activities, addressing any concerns, facilitating communication, and fostering a positive work environment.
Support the recruiting processes, partnering with the talent acquisition team and hiring managers to ensure the successful onboarding of new employees.
Provide timely and accurate HR advice concerning employee queries, performance, and absence management, disciplinary, grievance, HR policies, and employment law.
Proactively develop and provide policy, procedure, and good practice coaching, training and guidance to managers to empower them to manage employees more effectively.
Manage grievance, disciplinary, and capability investigations and hearings, and other tasks as required. Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing local HR requirements.
Proactively manage absence cases working in conjunction with line managers.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness, with regard, but not limited to employee data, payroll input, and maintaining appropriate documentation and HR reporting. Ensure General Data Protection regulation (GDPR) compliance within the function.
Ensure compliance with immigration legislation by regularly maintaining records and initiating appropriate applications for work permits, visas, etc.
Support ad hoc projects and proactively suggest ideas for continuous improvement.
Participate in the development and administration of new HR initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
CIPD Level 5 or bachelor’s degree in relevant field (or equivalent).
5 years of experience in HR or related field
Good working knowledge of employment law, good understanding of HR policies and best practices
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build productive relationships
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with Workday
Understanding of GDPR and UK employment laws
