Our client is seeking a highly competent HR Business Manager to join their dynamic team in London. This role offers an exciting opportunity to partner with the Head of HR and their Direct Reports, fostering relationships within both the HR team and the wider business. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping, driving, and operationalising key activities, providing pivotal support to the Head of HR. This role also includes risk management oversight and direction for the function, making it a truly diverse and engaging position.

What you'll do:

As an HR Business Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of HR in achieving strategic objectives. You will be responsible for producing insightful MI reports for senior management, managing key meetings, overseeing business continuity planning, coordinating risk assessments, and managing various projects across the HR department. Your ability to foster relationships within both the HR team and the wider business will be essential in driving priorities and focusing attention in the desired direction.

* Produce MI and reports for use in senior management and governance committees.
* Support the Head of HR in the monitoring and delivery of the overall HR plan.
* Manage key HR meetings including monthly HR Direct Report Meeting (DRM), weekly HR Operations Meeting, and quarterly HR Global check-ins.
* Oversee Business Continuity Planning (BCP) for HR including understanding the requirement, checking the resilience, ensuring accurate maintenance of call cascade, testing remote access.
* Coordinate the annual Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) for HR.
* Work closely with the Head of HR Operations to oversee, manage where applicable, projects across HR.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this HR Business Manager role will bring a wealth of banking knowledge coupled with strong financial analytics and reporting skills. You should have experience in business management with an understanding of FCA rules or equivalent. Proficiency in budget management is required along with essential project management experience. Strong IT skills are necessary while experience in HR would be desirable. Your excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills will be crucial in this role, as well as your ability to handle complexity, navigate ambiguity, and prioritise competing demands.

* Experience in business management with an understanding of FCA rules and regulations or equivalent.

* Strong IT skills with experience in HR being desirable.
