The Role
Our client in the Defence & Security sector is seeking a highly skilled HR Associate to join their team on a 6-month contract basis. As an HR Associate, you will play a crucial role in the Human Resources department of one of the most renowned companies in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
Provides coaching, advice and support to Line Managers on a range of ER case types to the in scope UK businesses.
* Establishes effective working relationships to ensure that relevant stakeholders are engaged and informed at the appropriate stages in each case, working in partnership with members of the UK Case Coaching Team and other stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate and effective case work.
* Provides balanced advice that is legally compliant & in line with company policy to managers, and employees in order to manage risk.
* Ensures effective working relationships are created and maintained including (not limited to) Business HR, Trade Union / Employee representatives, Occupational Health, Labour Law, ethics and others who interface with the Case Coaching Team.
* Provides challenge, support & contributes to changes and developments in technology solutions, policy & process to ensure the continuous improvement of the efficiency of the service.
* Works with key stakeholder groups to continuously improve line leader capability by challenging, influencing and supporting managers in a way that increases their knowledge, understanding and ability to manage ER cases effectively.
Job Requirements
Previous experience in an HR role.
Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Experience of ER (Employee Relations) and deep working knowledge of case management policies and processes is essential.
Experience of building and maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders such as the Trade Unions and Employee Representatives Groups.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Experience with HR software and databases is preferred.
Understanding of employment legislation and compliance requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong HR background and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. You should be detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
