About the role
As part of the expansion of our school and increased workload, we are actively recruiting an HR Assistant who will be responsible for the administrative responsibility of the Human Resource Function which includes recruitment, employee life-cycle, workforce planning, maintenance of single central record, training and development and attendance and performance monitoring.
About you
The successful candidate will work closely with the HR Manager to provide best practice HR support to all employees, covering all general aspects of employee relations. In addition, the HR Assistant will provide support to the HR Manager through a range of administration and tasks, with the opportunity to support with more complex meetings, including minute taking.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an administrative role - preferably Human Resources, experience of working within a school, whilst desirable, is not essential. We are aiming to recruit and appoint after the May half term to allow ample time for a full handover in preparation of the opening of the new site and to ensure the HR Assistant is sufficiently trained prior to the start of the new academic year. As the role support HR for all 3 sites, the successful candidate may be required to work at any of the 3 sites -as agreed with the HR Manager. On that basis the successful candidate would need to have a full UK driving licence and transportation to travel between sites as necessary.
We are looking for someone that is able to work Monday - Friday (25 hours per week) - we can be flexible with times to suit the candidates needs.
Other information
This role will work collaboratively with the HR Manger and wider Admin function as well as site staff therefore it is imperative that the successful candidate has strong communication and interpersonal skills, to ensure that they are able to work effectively with all key stakeholders.
