We have a fantastic part-time (22.5 hours per week) opportunity available for a People Advisor, based onsite in Ruddington, Nottingham.
Reporting to the People Services Lead, you will operate as part of the People Team to support human resources activities.
You will be responsible for the deployment and effectiveness of a broad range of defined Human Resources processes within Quotient Sciences.
Working with managers and employees, you will resolve queries and embed a positive colleague experience.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Ensure accuracy and completeness of workforce information in human resource information systems.
Handle day to day employee queries and act as the first point of contact for the team.
Raising offer letters and contracts of employment, reference requests etc.
Manage the starter and leaver processes.
Support recruitment process, leading onboarding activities and local in
ductions.
Support the compilation of monthly reports.
Assist in managing administration of and adherence to human resources policies and procedures; advises on compliance with key legislative requirements.
Participate in performance management activities including employee development planning.
Participate in training activities and special projects.
Data Analytics: Interpret information relying on knowledge and functional frameworks, and leverages including analytical problem-solving tools to draw conclusions and communicate meaningful patterns that drive insights; assesses quality of data as an initial step of the analysis.
Administration of the human resource management system/s, and administration and maintenance of employee records.
Maintain and develop process and work instruction documents, to continually improve all key processes.
Assist in resolution of conflicts and provides assistance in preparing for coaching on employment matters.
Assist in conducting and documenting investigations.
Support the payroll process as needed, including inputting data and liaison with the payroll specialist.
In addition, there will be the opportunity to support regional/Global People initiatives as we continue to develop our ways of working, underpinned by digitizing and focusing on colleague experience
Qualifications and experience required for competent performance.
Strong HR advisor with some experience of dealing with a wide variety of employee issues
Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
Strong organisational, problem solving, communication and follow up skills
Ability to perform multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Excellent attention to detail
