Hays HR are currently supporting a client with the recruitment of a HR Advisor on a permanent basis. This role will be responsible for providing a comprehensive generalist HR service to the business, where you will get involved across all aspects of the employee life cycle, with a key focus on employee relations.This opportunity offers fantastic HR and commercial exposure within a diverse production/manufacturing business.The position reports to a HR Business Partner but is a stand-alone at the Leeds site, however you will work closely with the wider HR team.Your ResponsibilitiesProviding first line generalist HR advice and support to employees on terms and conditions of employment and HR policies and proceduresOffering advice and guidance on employee relations - performance, discipline, grievance, including policy/procedure and legislation, attending formal investigations and hearingsManaging absence and attendance data, acting as the first-stage support for managers and liaising with occupational healthManaging family-friendly policies and procedures i.e. flexible working requests, maternity, paternity, adoption leaveManaging the leavers process i.e. exit interviews, liaising with payroll and sending out relevant correspondenceUndertaking recruitment, selection and onboarding activities, including interviewsThe ideal candidate will have:Previous HR experience at a HR Advisor level with CIPD qualification or equivalentHighly organised, accurate and methodical with the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing/production environmentAbility to work freely but also as part of a team with excellent communication skillsAbility to build strong relationships with stakeholders, persuade, trial and influence effectively and be a trusted advisor #4556499 - Jennifer Fisher
