HR Advisor Permanent Leicester Immediate start Global manufacturing organisation Are you an experienced HR Advisor? Do you have experience working in a fast paced engineering/manufacturing environment? If so, our client is a leading manufacturing business who specialise in delivering precision components for a variety of industries. I am looking for a HR Advisor to join a very successful business on an permanent basis. Overall PurposeTo support and advise the Management team in all aspects of the Human Resource function,including Employee Relations, Industrial Relations and Employment Law.To work with the team to ensure our people across all roles benefit from a positive workplaceexperience.To ensure, through the development and implementation of Human Resource policies and procedures that the Company works in line with Human Resource “best practice”. Key Responsibilities:To support and advise the Management team on all areas of employment legislation and its direct impact on the work placeTo continually develop and implement Policies and procedures that comply with employment legislation and enhance employee relationsTo ensure that all employment policies and procedures are applied fairly and consistently across the work forceTo manage and coordinate the recruitment of hourly paid and staff positions across both facilitiesTo support with disciplinary, grievance, consultation on terms/ conditions changes, absence management and other employee related meetings.To review, develop and promote Company benefits to all employeesTo support the management of positive Industrial Relations across the facility, including Collective bargaining negotiations, policy consultation and regular communication updatesTo give guidance to employees on their terms and conditions of employment and issues changes to terms and conditions where required Experience / skillsProven experience of working as a proactive HR Generalist in a manufacturing environmentExperience of working with Trade Union Representatives and promoting positive industrial and employee relationsA solid understanding of employment law and how to implement into company Policy and ProcedureExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage a range of stakeholdersAbility to work independently, lead on activities where required whilst also being a key contributor to the HR TeamAbility to handle sensitive information in a professional manner and have a understanding of GDPR requirementsExcellent attention to detail and the ability to produce quality work within set timeframesSound organisation skills with the ability to prioritise a diverse workloadStrong IT skills, with the ability to use all Microsoft Office functions andexperience of working with HR Management systems Qualifications – A formal qualification in Human Resources such as CIPD Level 3 or above (or equivalent) Key Requirements Possession of a Full UK Driving licence and willingness to travel between both business locations infrequently Hours of work: Mon - Thurs - 08.00 - 16.25Fri - 08:00 - 15.50
