Do you thrive having full autonomy and working from beginning to end in a standalone role? Do you enjoy working within SMEs? Are you qualified to CIPD L5 or working towards it? As a standalone HR Advisor, you will provide first-line support and guidance to managers and employees, managing the full process of absence, disciplinary and grievances including minute taking and relevant correspondence. This Permanent HR Advisor role offers Hybrid working with 1-2 days from home. Must have a driving license to travel between offices when required. HR Advisor responsibilities:
Overseeing all compliance and end to end recruitment processes including creating job adverts, managing the recruitment mailbox, screening and interviewing candidates to issuing contracts, RTW checks, inductions and exit interviews Maintaining the HRIS including collating information for the outsourced payroll provider on a weekly and monthly basis Review people metrics and produce monthly reports to present to the board Provide ongoing coaching and advice to management on people-related matters Support managers and lead on ER case management including coordinating the meetings, taking minutes and sending outcome letters Acting as a key contact for sickness, arranging absence review meetings Supporting line managers regarding requests on maternity, paternity, shared parental, and flexible working requests including arranging formal meetings Responsible for the implementation and review of all policies and procedures Ensures the completion of performance appraisals and performance management processes takes place Key liaison with Occupational Health for pre-employment, fit for work medicals ensuring invoices are processed and a paid Participate in Quality audits
HR Advisor Skills and Attributes:
CIPD Level 5 or working towards with experience of coaching managers. Previous experience working as a HR Advisor level in a standalone role Excellent communication skills. Up to date knowledge of employment law. Organised with a high level of attention to detail. An initiative-taker, flexible and adaptive to changes of direction. A driving licence is essential for this role as there will be a requirement to travel between offices.
With your CIPD qualification, and strong communication and organisation skills, this role will ensure variety and a great working culture to thrive in.
