Hunter Savage are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a global, high tech engineering group in the Dungannon/County Tyrone area to support the recruitment of an experienced HR Advisor.
Our Client is well established and respected globally and boasts an exceptional culture which really champions its people. They are seeking to expand their HR team by appointing a HR Advisor to support the delivery of their people strategy. This is an exciting, new, generalist HR opportunity.
The successful HR Advisor will help support the delivery of the people strategy, working in partnership with the team, and Managers across the business, to ensure the HR function provides a value added service.
The Role:
Support all activities that form part of the employee lifecycle – onboarding new hires, internal transfers, preparation of offer/starter packs, Offboarding, exit interviews etc
Support recruitment activities and participate in the delivery of the onboarding programme
Support the absence management process and seek opportunities to reduce absenteeism, from guiding on certification, coaching for return-to-work interviews, engaging occupational health support/referrals through to fair application of our HR processes.
Advise on people queries regarding policies and procedures eg maternity, paternity, flexible working etc
Coach and support Managers in performance management, disciplinary and grievance cases – note taking and preparing and managing associated documentation
Coach managers to support them to resolve their day-to-day people queries.
Accountable for payroll activities and act as a key link with the UK Country Payroll team.
KPI preparation and tend analysis leading to continuous improvement projects.
Support all compliance activities within the function, to include FEC monitoring, the Hire to Retire process etc.
Maintain accurate HR data in Workday, provide reports and support the implementation and interpretation of dashboards in order to identify trends over time
The Person:
3rd level qualification, preferably business or HR.
Associate CIPD, minimum level 3
Minimum of 1 year + recent, relevant experience working at HR Advisory/Officer/Generalist level
Demonstrable relevant experience in the end of end management of all employee relations related activity
Experience advising on NI/GB legislation relating to HR practices
Experience using HR information Systems, Workday would be preferred
Ability to coach Managers in people cases they present
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an HR Business Partner or senior HR Advisor or HR
Strong communication and relationship building skills
