Reporting Line: UK HR Manager
Hours: 40 per week Monday to Friday 08:30-5:30pm

A newly created opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join their growing team. This role will focus on supporting the employees and teams based in the South of the UK.
In the role of HR Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting the HR Team with the day-to-day function, providing advice and support to managers and their teams. With experience in working in fast-paced environments, you will be used to the changing needs and expectations within an HR generalist capacity.
The HR Advisor Role Overview:
Building strong relationships with key stakeholders within the organisationSupporting managers, you will provide advice and support on employee relation issues including absence management, performance management, disciplinary and grievances.Supporting the investigation of all disciplinary matters, ensuring employment law and company policy are adhered to.Involvement with the recruitment cycle and supporting managers with the decision-making processes.Ensuring induction and onboarding are carried out correctly and in line with company policy.Maintain business compliance with accreditations and screening processes where applicable, including but not limited to BS7858, SIA and DBS screening.Responsible for administrating and inputting UK Payroll, working with Sage 50. Undertaking HR projects in line with the HR Strategy.

Your Experience as an HR Advisor:
A minimum of 5 years HR generalist experience with 3 years within an advisory capacity, this role requires the experience and confidence to provide advice and use initiative.Employee relations experience within a fast-paced environment.A confident communicator, both written and verbal.Team Player, ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.Able to escalate at the right time and the right level.Able to work on an initiative to follow up and take action where necessary.Strong 'can do' attitude.Resilience and tenacity with the ability to manage a varied workload and multiple commitments.
