Paying between �35k - �40k + Bonus + Benefits

LHH Recruitment Solutions have partnered with a leading professional services company who is looking an experienced HR / People Advisor to join their team. The role of People Advisor is a pivotal role within the People Experience team. Using established advisory expertise to work with dedicated business areas as a trusted, credible advisor, this is a generalist role focused on effective employment relations advice; policy management as well as supporting with advising on a full range of people and change initiatives to help enable both delivery of the people and culture strategy as well as functional people agendas.

We are seeking a talented and experienced HR Advisor to join our client's team in Cheltenham. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation that values its employees. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in providing operational HR support and advice to all employees, ensuring effective employment relations advice and policy management. You will have the opportunity to work closely with dedicated business areas, acting as a trusted advisor and contributing to the delivery of the people and culture strategy.

What will you do in this role?

  • Provide operational HR advice and support to all employees.
  • Handle grievances, sickness reviews, and absence management queries.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and enhance engagement.
  • Stay updated with employment law legislation and take action on policy updates as required.
  • Conduct exit interviews and ensure recruitment compliance.

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience in an HR Advisory role, with a strong understanding of employment relations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Packages and HR software/systems.
  • Excellent multitasking and prioritisation skills.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent, with CIPD or MCIPD qualification.
  • Strong MS Excel skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Experience with ER cases and policy management.
