CMA HR Division are recruiting for an established organisation based in Winchester, Hampshire to recruit a HR Advisor to join them on a 3-6 month fixed term contract to cover a sickness absence.

Reporting to the Senior HR Advisor this role provides guidance and support to the team and through the management of individual employee relations casework.  The successful candidate will contribute to the practical resolution of matters ensuring that employment decisions have regard to the needs of the business and take account of legislative requirements, relevant procedures, and good employment practice.

What will Senior HR Advisor role involve?


  • Resolve issues effectively, coordinating cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Foster strong relationships with managers, staff, and HR colleagues to ensure compliance with technical and statutory requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for managers, promptly addressing inquiries via various channels.
  • Influence managers to align personnel actions with best practices in employment.
  • Offer timely, expert guidance on HR matters to empower informed decision-making and enhance employee performance.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of different business areas to deliver practical solutions efficiently.
  • Provide analysis, data reports, and project management support to drive organizational performance and enhance people management.

Suitable Candidate for Senior HR Advisor vacancy:


  • A commitment to customer care and continuous improvement.
  • Certificate in Personnel Practice or relevant experience.
  • Substantial experience in a junior or entry level generalist HR role.
  • Understanding of and commitment to Equalities and Diversity.
  • Able to assimilate, analyse and interpret information quickly.
