My client, a world leading innovative and technology focused law firm, has an exciting opportunity for a proactive and credible HR Advisor to join their HR department on a 6-month FTC basis in their fast-paced London office.As the HR Advisor, you will be required to resolve queries and cases from a range of HR specialisms in order to support the wider HR team and the firm. Working closely with Partners, managers, and employees and providing accurate, timely and consistent frontline HR advice.Key Duties Include:Completing HR administration activities and advising on policy and procedures, the employee lifecycle, onboarding new joiners, maternity, leavers, promotions and Reward and Benefit policies.Monitoring and assisting with work permit arrangements for non-UK citizens of the firm.Notetaking for formal HR meetings including grievances, disciplinary meetings, etc. Responsible for providing information and assistance on the use of self-service and using the HR intranet.Inputting and maintaining accurate employee records using appropriate HR systems including Workday and HR Helpdesk, as well as some external databases.Providing assistance and sharing knowledge with other HRA's and HR colleagues to improve the delivery of HR service to the firm.Responsible for obtaining the correct level of authorisation for work being carried out and escalate complex queries and requests as appropriate.The HR Advisor will ideally have a formal HR qualification - CIPD or equivalent and will have experience covering HR areas throughout the employment lifecycle. Along with a good understanding of delivery within HR shared services environment and possess strong knowledge of HR policies, structures, strategy and the Data Protection Act. The right candidate will be commercially aware, have strong influencing, communication and team working skills. Experience of HR systems and Case Management tools (Customer Relationship Product) would be an advantage.
