Housing Options Officer

We are looking for someone with 1/2 years' experience working in a similar environment delivering homelessness prevention and housing related support services. You must have up to date knowledge and experience of the Homeless Reduction Act and associated legislation relevant to addressing homeless prevention and managing homelessness, with proven experience of working within a multi-functional team and with partners and key stakeholders.

We also want people with experience of successfully meeting individual set targets in a high pressured environment that delivers lean and efficient services whilst delivering high levels of performance.

The role requires conducting interviews with customers, face to face or by telephone to ensure solutions are offered in the best interest of the customer in accordance with policy, best practice and relevant legislation. Knowledge of Trafford's Allocations Policy and Choice Based Lettings systems would also be beneficial.
