VENN GROUP The specialists in professional temporary recruitmentHousing Officer Opportunity – Temporary to Permanent/Permanent VacancyAgency Ref: 81043An exciting opportunity has arisen with an established housing association who are looking to recruit a Housing Officer to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent/Permanent basis.Location: Hybrid working with 2 days onsite in Southwest LondonHours: 37.5 hours per weekShift: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pmLength of Contract: 3 Months Temporary to PermanentMain responsibilities of the role:
Provide and deliver an efficient and effective generic housing management service to local neighbourhoodsTo enforce tenancy conditions and to liaise with the anti-social behaviour caseworker, police, and other agencies to ensure a co-ordinated response to anti-social behaviourManage a range of Safeguarding and ASB cases to a high standardUndertake regular estate inspections, monitoring estate services and fire safety inspectionsProvide advice on Universal Credit and other welfare benefit entitlements and be responsible for delivering housing services, including Tenancy Management, Voids, Estate Services and ASBOversee a high level of safeguarding at all timesUndertaking rent collection and arrears management including representing the organisation in CourtTake responsibility for own patch of propertiesIdentifying repairs, estate improvements and dealing working with internal and external partners to resolve local management issues
Essential Requirements:
Possess knowledge of housing law and regulationAn Enhanced DBS from within the last 3 years or willingness to obtain
