Pay rate: �23.55 - �25.13 per hour

Location: Rugby

Hours: 37h per week, office hours - hybrid (at least 2 days in office)

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housing Advice and Benefits Services Manager to join a dynamic team. As the Housing Advice and Benefits Services Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a range of key functions to prevent and manage homelessness and rough sleeping in the borough.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders to develop strategies for the prevention and management of homelessness and rough sleeping.

- Manage the housing waiting list and allocation of homes in a fair and transparent manner.

- Support the strategic enabling of affordable housing initiatives to meet the needs of the community.

- Effectively manage staff, budgets, health and safety, and business continuity plans to ensure the delivery of efficient and responsive services.

- Secure and manage suitable temporary accommodation solutions for service users in need.

- Ensure accurate and timely completion of consultations, statistical, and financial returns, including subsidy claims and grant claims.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Proven experience in managing housing advice and benefits services in a similar setting.

- Strong understanding of homelessness prevention strategies and housing allocation processes.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders.

- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team to achieve strategic objectives.

- Ability to analyse data and financial information to inform decision-making.

- Relevant qualifications in housing management, social work, or a related field.
