We’re seeking a part time Housing Administrator to join our Coventry Retirement Living team. This is a part time role working 15 hours per week between Monday and Friday. We invite applications from candidates who are willing and able to work on a Monday – your other days of work and start/finish times can be discussed to offer flexibility to suitable candidates!As a Housing Administrator you’ll provide dedicated administrative support across three schemes, including but not limited to:Responding to internal and external correspondenceRaising repairs using inhouse systemsUpdating tenancy files, data entry and minute takingBanking / reconciliations related administration.You’ll also interact with our residents to resolve their queries and signpost to appropriate external services - brilliant interpersonal skills are a must!The role is based on site across two thriving Retirement Living Schemes, Bevan Court
near Coventry City Centre and Poppy Court
in Willenhall, Coventry. You’ll also provide remote administrative support to Imperial Court in Northamptonshire. We’re looking for candidates who are willing and able to travel to both Coventry sites, please be aware there may be times you’re required to travel to other Midland Heart sites for training, team meetings etc.Our ideal candidate? We’re seeking an organised individual who puts brilliant customer service at the heart of what they do. You’ll also able be able to demonstrate the following:Experience of delivering a range of administrative tasks.Experience of working in a customer facing role with face-to-face interaction with customers.Experience of working within an older people service or in a role with regular contact with older people.Experience of using a range of Microsoft Packages including Excel, with the ability to learn business systems.Willingness to achieve a Level 3 certificate in Housing Practice.Who are Midland Heart? We’re a large and ambitious housing organisation providing more people an affordable place to call home.
