Shift Schedule:
From Monday to Sunday
Late Shift:
11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Weekend Shift:
08:00 AM – 4:30 PM (one Saturday a month)

To keep up our reputation for excellence, we’re looking for an experienced Housekeeping Team Leader to join our team
Job Summary:
As a Housekeeping Team Leader at King Edward VII Hospital, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our esteemed institution. Your leadership and expertise will ensure that our housekeeping team delivers top-quality cleaning and sanitation services to create a comfortable and safe environment for our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate housekeeping activities to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the main hospital and outpatients
Provide training and mentorship to housekeeping staff on effective cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure uninterrupted service.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address cleanliness issues or maintenance requirements.
Collaborate with other departments to schedule cleaning activities and minimize operational disruptions.
Assist with heavy deliveries and operate cleaning machinery as needed.
Provide coverage for housekeeping porter tasks during staff absences.
Ensure compliance with infection control procedures and health and safety regulations.
Report maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions for prompt resolution.
Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, equipment maintenance, and staff attendance.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a housekeeping role.
Strong leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as carpet shampoo machines and scrub machines.
Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy objects.
Knowledge of infection control protocols and health and safety regulations.

This role does involve heavy lifting, so the ideal candidate should be physically fit and capable of handling such tasks as part of their responsibilities
