Whilst each hotel is individual, every property fulfils the company values of family, individuality, community and care, ensuring a hand picked experience for every guest and employee. We are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager to be based Audleys Wood Hotel at part of Hand Picked Hotels. This is a new role created due to the ongoing transformation plans for Hand Picked Hotels. Audleys Wood Hotel was once a beloved country mansion, renowned for its exceptional hospitality. This 4 star 68-bedroom, country house hotel is surrounded by stunning woodlands and seven acres of lush private grounds. It boasts a 2 AA Rosette fine dining restaurant and a variety of function spaces making this a popular wedding and events venue.
About the role: The role of Sales Manager will involve proactively driving sales activities to the hotel across all sectors to including hotel events, private dining, leisure experiences, corporate and conference from a local perspective. Work with local destination houses and partners from a B2B and B2C perspective. Support the development, execution, and maintenance of the hotel and Hand Picked Hotels sales and marketing plan. Be a confident and effect networker who can build effective relationships externally and internally. Making clear, confident decisions, will be second nature to you, consulting with others where needed ensuring you all reach the same goals. Most of all we will want you to be inspired, have fun and enjoy being part of our Hand Picked Team.
About you : To be considered for this role of Sales Manager you will have current proactive sales experience within a 4/5-star luxury hotel or similar environment. It is essential you are driven, can act on your own initiative where appropriate and enjoy working within a proactive sales role and with set targets and objectives. Can demonstrate a methodical approach and are highly organised and have a systematic approach to your work. You will have excellent communication, presentation skills and attention to detail. Most of all, you will have a professional, organised and friendly approach and be able to anticipate our guests needs and create memories. It essential you have your own transport and can travel as required.
Our Benefits include: A competitive salary package, plus an un capped sales bonus, business mileage will be paid.
This is a Full-Time role working 40 hours per week working Monday to Friday, however this may vary depending on business needs.
