We are looking for a dynamic, professional and experienced Hotel Reservations Manager to join our team on the start of this exciting journey.
THE ROLE OF THE HOTEL RESERVATIONS MANAGER
As the Hotel Reservations Manager you will be responsible for managing all day to day enquiries and any guest requests as and when they come in. Your tasks as Reservations Manager will include but will not be limited to:
* Oversee the smooth operational running of the Reservations team.
* Have a complete understanding of budget and targets for your department and ensure the entire team are working hard to achieve them.
* Complete the rota for your team on time and within labour costs.
* Be forward thinking and innovative when it comes to ways of working and best practice.
* Manage the reservation function to maintain the highest possible room occupancy.
* Thorough knowledge of Kinetics (KX) and responsibility to ensure the system is well maintained and the most up to date information is loaded into it.
* To offer strong leadership, mentoring, and guidance to your team.
* To be an advocate for training and development across your department in order to foster progression and retention throughout your department.
* To be an ambassador for the facility as well as a strong leader who embodies our values and commitment to our teams.
EXPERIENCE
* Strong revenue experience
* Previous experience as a Reservation Manager or Assistant Reservation Manager.
* Previous experience within a quality Hotel.
