Receptionist
MAIN JOB PURPOSE: To provide an efficient and courteous service to guests at all times.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Be fully conversant with check-in and check-out procedures.
Deal with any guest requests during pre-arrivals and throughout their stay, ensuring the information is communicated and/or recorded accurately.
To promote and upsell additional services on check-in.
Adhere to all hotel credit policies, taking care with payments and seeking support from the departmental leaders when necessary.
Observe all security and Health & Safety regulations.
Answer all telephone calls promptly and efficiently.
Know the current day availability.
Enrol guests to the Melia Rewards program and explain the benefits of joining.
What are we looking for?
Previous reception experience, ideally in a similar hotel environment
Natural people skills
Excellent and effective communicator
Flexibility and adaptability
The successful candidate must already have eligibility to work in the UK

Holidays: 28 days holiday including 8 public holidays
