Insight Recruitment Consultants have been asked by our long standing and reputable client to recruit�for an experienced Country Hotel Receptionist.



The Hotel:



The Hotel is a charming country hotel with Georgian styling, nestled in the beautiful Derbyshire Countryside. Offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests seeking a relaxing getaway. or beautiful setting for their wedding or event.



The Role:



We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Country Hotel Receptionist to join the team! As the first point of contact for�guests, you will play a vital role in ensuring they have a memorable and enjoyable stay. You will be expected to go the extra mile to ensure the guests stay is a memorable one.



Responsibilities:




  • Welcome guests with a warm smile and professional demeanor.

  • Check guests in and out efficiently, handling registration and payment processes.

  • Allocate rooms based on guest preferences and availability.

  • Answer guest inquiries about the hotel, local attractions, and activities.

  • Provide excellent customer service, resolving guest concerns promptly and courteously.

  • Process Post, and messages for guests and the hotel a like.

  • Manage payments and maintain accurate financial records.

  • Take telephone reservations and bookings for hotel rooms and restaurant.

  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.

  • Support other departments as needed, ensuring smooth hotel operations.

  • May operate the hotel switchboard and announce incoming calls.



Requirements:




  • Demonstrate experience in a Country style hotel or hospitality environment (relevant customer service experience).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (or similar software).

  • A genuine passion for hospitality and providing exceptional customer service.

  • A positive and friendly personality with a can-do attitude.

  • The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

  • You may wish to specify if fluency in a second language as this is a bonus.

  • Highlight any specific skills you may have that will allow you to work flexibly in support of hotel opperations.�
