What we are looking for…
We are looking for a Handyman/Painter Decorator with a friendly and outgoing personality, with superb communication skills as you will be dealing with hotel guests and other staff members. As a Handyman/Painter Decorator you are expected to:
Basic plumbing skills (fit a toilet, plumb a sink, repair leaks)
Basic electrical skills (change light fittings etc)
General carpentry skills (build and skin a stud wall, hang and fit a door)
Painting and decorating to a high standard is mandatory
Carrying out PPM in all the areas of the hotel
Good record keeping and organisational skills
A broad range of hand and power tools
An ability to organise your own workload and work on your own initiative
