Hotel Acquisitions - Analyst/Senior Analyst

Cobalt are delighted to be supporting a market-leading Investment Management firm who specialise within hotels in the Real Estate sector. Our client is seeking to make two hires within their London team at the Analyst and Senior Analyst level.
With a recent joint venture, the company is in a position to accelerate the number of acquisitions they can carry out in the luxury hotels market. In addition to this, our client has a renowned reputation for managing large redevelopments, capital expenditure and re-branding low-quality assets into luxury hotels.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop detailed financial models and conduct cash flow analysis for potential investment opportunities.
Assist in all aspects of origination, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and execution for real estate projects.
Maintain and update existing investment and financial models.
Prepare investment memos and business plans for internal and external stakeholders.
Contribute to decision-making throughout the real estate life cycle.
Key skills and experience include:
1 to 3 years of experience in investment banking, real estate investment management, private equity, or real estate transaction services advisory; experience in hotel feasibility/development is required.
Project management or transaction execution experience is desirable.
Candidate must be able to model DCFs in Excel from scratch at both levels.
BA or MA in Finance, Real Estate, or Hospitality Management.
Interest in the hospitality and luxury sectors is highly valued.
