We are looking for an experienced and talented Hotel & Accommodation Marketing Executive to be part of the in-house marketing team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Of Communications with all aspects of marketing for the managed estate. This includes but is not limited to, the development and implementation of campaign strategy, support with copy writing and art direction, and aid in the concept development of new brands, as well as working to reinvigorate our existing portfolio.
This is a key role which will require creative flare as well as strong leadership and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

The Role:
With a focus on creative thinking and entrepreneurial spirit, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Of Communications with all aspects of marketing for the Hotel & Accommodation division of the estate, which compromises 11 sites across 7 brands. This includes the creation, planning, implementation and reporting on all marketing campaigns for each hotel. This role will require you to work with key stakeholders including the wider marketing team, the revenue team and the Senior Operations team to drive brand awareness and loyalty for the business and ultimately to drive top line sales, specifically via direct bookings.
This is a key role which will require strong commercial acumen and a demonstrable level of experience in this particular sector.
Role Responsibilities:
Campaign and comms strategy roll out which will improve sales and market share for our portfolio of venues, with particular focus on driving direct booking business. This will also include creating targeted campaigns for specific retail opportunities throughout the year including key calendar dates, re-marketing, and segmentation marketing.
Digital copy & content, including but not limited to mailers, social media content, boosted posts, metasearch, SEO copy for websites including blog content. This requires you to be highly creative and imaginative, with excellent written and interpersonal skills. A
Working with the digital team including the Senior Web Designer to help develop and maintain our website content for maximum conversion, ensuring imagery, copy, layout and customer journey is constantly reviewed and improved where required.
PR, including a strong focus on securing media coverage for our brands and working with the Group Marketing Manager to secure maximum return on influencer and press content.
Skills & Experience:
Degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent
OR have at least - 2+ years of marketing or project management experience as part of an inhouse team or agency with specific experience in Hotels or Hospitality
Able to produce copy for use across the digital and physical space which is on brand and of the highest quality
A strong understanding of the accommodation market (the local market in Edinburgh would be greatly advantageous ) including key and emergent trends, innovation, and market share.
Work toward tight deadlines whilst producing a high standard of work
IT literate including email management, scheduling and filing
Eloquent, enthusiastic, and always willing to learn
Able to work on numerous projects simultaneously
Measures of Success:
Measurable success in KPIs, including but not limited to an uplift in footfall and interest for key retail events, increased digital engagement inc. social media channels.
Successfully championing key projects to ensure they are delivered on time, to budget, and of the highest standard, ensuring no opportunity is missed.
Ultimately improve output and quality of wider dept. due to hands on support, direction and feedback. Ensuring where needed you gather, organize and prep all content from other teams to ensure for smooth and optimized work through for our team.
