Hospital Pharmacy Technician roles - Barnsley - Training given! - 6 month contracts

Hunter Gatherer AHP have x3 very exciting locum opportunities based with an NHS run hospital service, located in Barnsley, Yorkshire, (please enquire for exact locations), for several Locum Band 4/5 Pharmacy Technicians (community experienced applicants welcome to apply!) to join the ward and dispensary teams from March/April 2024 onwards, on ongoing contracts up to 6 months!
PLEASE NOTE – some form of previous hospital experience is desireable, however not an outright necessity, so community experienced Pharmacy Technicians are also welcome to apply as training will be provided here! There is free parking available on site. This is a fantastic chance for career progression at speed, as training will be provided across the various dispensary aspects of the role depending on your skill set. Those with hospital experience will be able to jump right in, and those without will be trained to complete inpatient wards and dispensary cover!
The role will be to mainly cover the inpatient dispensary of the hospital, assisting with dispensing and checking, and there will be a chance to undertake some MMT ward based working here too, depending on how quickly you progress!
The working pattern will be either 8am - 4pm OR 9am – 5pm (30 mins lunch break) Monday – Friday, there will be no on call or weekend working needed. For the right applicant, part time working may be considered (3 – 4 days per week). 
Applicants must have some form of pharmacy experience, whether from the community or hospital sector. As seen above, prior Hospital experience is NOT a must here, so it offers the chance for a Pharmacy Technician to break into the hospital sector, and kick start their hospital career!
These services are seeking cover immediately (March/April 2024), and the roles will be a contract length of up to 6 months, long term!

– x3 Locum Band 4/5 Pharmacy Technicians needed – NHS Hospital in Barnsley seeking cover 
– £17 – £22 per hour Umbrella , depending on experience
– Hospital experience not a necessity! Community pharmacy experienced applicants welcome to apply!!
– Start date: March/April 2024 
- Inpatient dispensary cover, with a chance for wards!
- GPHC Registration required (but NO ACT or MMT needed!)
- Based in Barnsley, Yorkshire, with free parking on site!

– Duration: Up to 6 months! 
– Full time or part time hours (3,4 or 5 days per week)
