We are the principal independent provider by volume of knee and hip operations in the United Kingdom and we also own and operate sports medicine, physiotherapy and rehabilitation brand, Perform. Working in partnership with over 8,760 experienced consultants, we delivered tailored, personalised care to approximately 926,500 inpatients, outpatients and day case patients in 2022.Following the promotion of the current incumbent, this exciting and challenging opportunity has become available. Situated just outside the medieval city of Norwich, the Hospital has 4 theatres, 2 wards; comprising of 50 beds. The dedicated and experienced Team provide a comprehensive range of healthcare services within a safe, comfortable and relaxed private hospital environment for our patients throughout East of England, with easy access to London and beyond.For this role, you will need to offer sound strategic and operational leadership, enabling you to set clear direction within a complex people and service related business where you build an equally complex range of working relationships both internally and externally. Key responsibilities of this important role include:· Designated Registered Manager for the hospital, ensuring it complies with all statutory, regulatory and legal requirements.· Overseeing delivery of an outstanding holistic Patient experience, in line with our Purpose, to exceed customer’s current and evolving needs.· Leading and developing a diverse hospital team; identifying succession plans and steering capability development for all.· Developing your hospital’s three year strategic and annual operating plans in line Spire’s overarching business strategy.· Driving business growth through identifying and capitalising on commercial opportunities and embracing change in an ever evolving environment.· Building and leading a world class, high performing hospital team committed to and engaged in the Hospital’s Purpose and Vision.A natural leader, effective team player and strong influencer, you are able to build momentum that delivers continuous professional & service improvement, whilst operating successfully within a complex, matrix and multi-stakeholder environment. You will need to be an experienced leader from the healthcare provider sector and ideally operated at registered manager level in the private healthcare provider sector, or board level within the NHS.
