Home Based Tutor

Are you a skilled tutor with a passion for making a difference?

We're looking for an experienced tutor to provide one-on-one support in Maths and English to a Year 1�student.

If you have a background in SEND, particularly SEMH, and enjoy personalising education, we want to hear from you!

THE ROLE�

• Deliver engaging Maths and English lessons tailored to the student's needs.


• Adapt teaching methods to support the student's SEMH requirements.


• Track and report on the student's progress.


• Collaborate with the student's family to ensure cohesive support.

YOU

• An Enhanced DBS check.


• Previous experience within a school or tutoring environment.


• A QTS or relevant teaching or education qualification.


• Experience with SEND, specifically SEMH.

THE SCHOOL

of 90 pupils, aged 4 to 11, and currently has 84 pupils on roll. The school has a caring, inspiring and achieving ethos, and values the individuality and potential of each child.

The school has a range of facilities to enhance the learning experience of the pupils, such as a library, a computer suite, a hall, a playground and a field.

The pupils at our partnered school are well-behaved, respectful and enthusiastic learners. The pupils are also taught to respect and celebrate diversity and to be courageous advocates for themselves and others.
