Home based Supervising Social Worker - No Out of Hours

salary up to £40,000 per annum + £3,000 car allowance

NonStop Care is working with one of the most reputable Independent Fostering Agencies in the South East of England / London area, in order to help them recruit for a Supervising Social Worker who can join them on a permanent basis.

This is a home based role, offering you a lot of flexibility with your schedule. You will only have to go to the office in Surrey once a month for team meetings.

In this role, you will not be required to cover any out of hours or duty work. They have a separate duty team that does that for them. This means you will always work Monday to Friday, 9 to 5, and have all of the evenings and weekends free to spend with your family and friends.

Responsibilities:

The Supervising Social Worker will provide support and supervision to about 10 - 12 foster families, located around Croydon, Norwood, Greenwich and Surrey. Some of the visits can be done virtually, reducing your travel.

The role does not include completing Form F Assessments on top, so you will only be doing supervision of the foster families. They have a team of Independent Social Workers that are completing Form F Assessments for them, so you will never have to do this.

Caseload is 10 - 12.

They are a therapeutic fostering agency and they provide ongoing therapeutic training, so you can develop your skills.

They also offer ongoing training and development and a lot of support in order for you to progress your career with them.

Work - life balance is very important, so apart from home working and no duty work, they also offer 30 days annual leave (which will increase to 35 days with length of service) + bank holidays.

Requirements:

Please apply if you are a Social Worker or a Senior Social Worker and if you have experience in working in fostering or within a LAC team. You must have a Social Work Degree and a driving license also.
