HLTA/Teaching Assistant

This exciting Higher level teaching assistant vacancy is the perfect opportunity for anyone who is looking to work in a classroom.  We are looking for exceptional Higher level teaching assistant to start work with us in schools around Birmingham 

The ideal candidate for this role will be confident in assessing the social and emotional needs of all pupils and provide the support required to remove the barriers to learning.

The ideal candidate will be confident in / hold:

• A level 4 or equivalent in Childcare or Education
• Demonstrate a strong subject knowledge in all areas of development.
• Set high expectations for all pupils, with the ability to adapt when needed.
• Build positive relationships with all pupils, staff and parents / carers
• Regularly assess the progress of children and keep records updated
• Plan a variety of activities, using the national primary curriculum, using a range of relevant resources
• Create a supportive, imaginative and challenging environment

Ideally you would hold a Level 4 within the Education or Childcare setting; however we will also accept candidates with extensive experience in the SEN setting.

Your application will be subject to an enhanced DBS on the Update Service and two educational references within last 2 years, so it is essential that you have previous experience of working an Education Setting.
