History Teacher

Teacher of History: 
One of the Secondary Schools we support in Coventry are seeking a dedicated and passionate History Teacher to join their team. As an History Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality lessons to students, fostering a positive learning environment, and promoting student success. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation.

Duties:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
- Teach various concepts to students of different grade levels
- Utilised effective teaching strategies to facilitate student understanding and promote critical thinking skills
- Provide individualised instruction and support to students who may require additional assistance
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement
- Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and other forms of evaluation
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the History curriculum

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in History or related field
- Valid teaching certification or license (TRN/QTS)
- Previous experience teaching History at the secondary level is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively communicate concepts to students of varying abilities
