Job Title: Highways Ganger / Team Leader
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highways Ganger/Team Leader to join our team for a project on the M25. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team in all aspects of civil work, including ductwork, drainage, slabbing, paving, steps, handrails, etc. Ideally, we are looking for gangs/teams that have worked together on previous projects. The gang should have a mixture of operatives including (team leader/machine drivers/groundworkers/pipe layers).
Shift pattern: Monday - Friday with nights/weekends becoming available. Hours will be 07:00 - 17:00 with an hour deducted for lunch break. The contract is ongoing, and you will be needed for a minimum of 18 months. Van + Fuel card will be provided.
Skills:
Previous experience in highways construction
Strong leadership skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Responsibilities:
Lead a team in all aspects of civil work on the M25 project J11.
Ensure work is completed efficiently and to high-quality standards
Supervise and train team members as needed
Maintain a safe working environment at all times
